To me this quote by Dale Murphy says that it doesn’t matter how you do your actions it matters what kind of character you had while you did them. Also, he is saying that the way you treat and act to others is how you will be treated back by them. It’s how you act that matters. For example it can be kindness which shows good character and it can be being angry at others which shows rude character.
