Duties and Responsibilities: An Oncologist is a doctor who specializes in
treating people with cancer. The three main types of oncologists are medical,
surgical, and radiation oncologists. These different types of oncologists often
work together to treat a person with cancer.
Salary: $217,856 a year
Education: Completion of a bachelor's degree program, particularly one that
includes coursework in the biological and chemical sciences, is the first step
in becoming an oncologist. Admission to an accredited school is next, a
competitive and selective process that typically requires a passing score on
the Medical College Admission Test.
I would like to be an Oncologist because they save people’s lives and take
cancer out of their bodies. Also, yes they make good money but honestly that is
a gift because having the feelings of saving someone’s life is better.
