                      Final Part: 2

A.    I liked having free time at the end of the class. I also liked the student success statements because we learned new quotes every day we came.

B.    Some suggestions to improve in this class is to finish all your assignments and bring your life planning goals every day.

C.     I believe I did do my best in this class because I really didn’t know all these commands, options, and programs on computers and know I do.

D.    I sometimes forget to read my life planning goals but if I do the next day I read them twice as much and I sometimes add more.

E.     I am committed to being a CTR person because why would I do bad if doing bad in life is being a failure in life.

F.     I promise to be physical mentally and spiritually strong in life because if I do good in these things in my life I will be ready for what’s ahead in my future.

                      Final Part: 1

My partners for our project were Esmeralda, Saul, Kevin, Yulenny, Carlos, and myself. I think we did okay but we should have practiced our lines more because we did stuttered when we presented .Our subject was should school age children be required to play or do a physical activity during the summer. We agreed to this because children are now more obese and having lifestyle diseases more often. As, we presented to our audience I was really nervous and I had lost my train of thought while I spoke but got it back as I read my flash cards. My group did descent in general. I believe we could have done better but sadly we didn’t. So hopefully next year I will be able to get a better grade.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”

                      Abraham Lincoln

This quote to me for example is if you do good at school your grade will be good but if you do bad you will have a bad grade. Also, if you help someone that can’t do something you know that you did good and you will feel good but if you just watch them struggle you will feel bad.

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”

                             Mr.Haymore

To me this quote means to be mentally, physically, and spiritually strong and smart. It means this to me because being strong is being strong is having the will to do something and to be smart is to know how your actions will be.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”

                         Richard L. Evans

To me this quote means that everything you do you should have a reason for and motivation. If it’s something bad you should stop because you have to think what good it’s going to do if you do it. Therefore, courage means to motivate yourself in something positive.

                         “Always do right.”

                          Mark Twain

To me this quote means no matter what the consequences are always do something that is positive or helpful. Also, it means to always help others around you no matter who they are. Even if you don’t know the person.

          The Sting of a Scorpion

To me this showed me that the boy knew what was right and didn’t care at the time. So he paid for not caring about what his parents told him every time. So to me this video showed me that every little thing matters no matter what you think. Also, if you don’t do what is right there will always be something negative if you don’t do it such as karma.

When you tell one lie it leads to another                  Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another       So you lie and lie without even trying
So you tell two lies to cover each other            And each lie you tell will keep
Then you tell three lies and, Oh brother                          multiplying
You’re in trouble up to your ears!             ‘Till the whole wide world will know
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                             you’re lying
Then you tell five lies so folk’s wont suspect                    Then you’ll be
                                   You                                                              Suspected
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                                  Detected
A life filled with worries and fears                                        Rejected
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies                      Neglected
                         You’ve told                                                          Disliked
And half the things you say aren’t true                          And you should!
And sometime you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up       When you lie your closing the door
                             And then                                                 On everything good
Whatever will become of you?

“When you tell One Lie, it leads to another”

                               Paul Hatch

                      Always speak the truth

To me this means if you tell a lie you’re going to make up another to back up that one lie. So in other words telling one lie is just adding up even more and the only way to stop that is by telling the truth.

Lou Holtz

To me these questions are true because if you said yes to these questions it means you are trustworthy, motivated, and you                                                 believe you are not better                                       or worse than another                                           person.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. It became an official Federal holiday in 1863, when, during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelled in the Heavens", to be celebrated on the last Thursday in November. Also, there are reports that the original Thanksgiving proclamation was signed by George Washington.

Twelve things I am thankful for are being able to be alive, have a home, have a family, sleep knowing I am okay, have parents that care for me, having my own room, being happy every day, having good grades, having my grandparents, having a bed, having food , and being thankful for having and getting an education.

Marcus Aurelius

To me this quote means that no matter what the cause is never do something or say something that isn’t true because it is worthless. For example saying curse words just because you want to. Also, falling asleep late when you have school early in the morning.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day

Veterans Day was established on November the 11th on 1918. Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was originally set as a U.S. legal holiday to honor the end of World War I. More than 16 million Veterans served during war and more than 5.5 million served during peace time. Veterans Day is not Memorial Day. Memorial honors the dead soldiers that protected our country and Veterans Day honors the soldiers that are alive and that used to be soldiers and soldiers that are still at war.

To me Veterans Day means to me is to honor the soldiers that were and still are soldiers for what they did to protect use and there country. They risked and still risk their lives for us.
