  Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: To protect the environment, public health, and safety of residents through permit, inspection, consultation, planning, investigation and enforcement activities in a wide variety of program areas include food, housing, water quality, recreational health, land use, site assessment and mitigation, solid waste, hazardous materials and vector control surveillance.

 Salary: $51,292.80 - $62,982.40


Education: Bachelor's degree programs in environmental health and safety prepare students for work in this field.

 







Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be an environmental specialist because yes they make good money but I would not be interested in this kind of job. I would like to have a job that I like to do and pays good.
