Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Some of the responsibilities are to help protect the privacy and ensure the accuracy of the patient’s records. They also have to do billing and diagnostic coding.  Most of them work in hospitals or clinics.

 Salary: $34,160 a year

Education: To become one you need an Associate’s degree.

 

Reflection: I would not like to be a Health Information Specialist because if anything goes wrong like if someone loses there records they would have to come to me because I would be in charge.
