                        Acupressure

Acupressure is a treatment using manual pressure.  It is a form of alternative therapy similar to acupuncture that uses manual pressure instead of needles.  Acupressure is used for relaxation and wellness and to treat disease. Some common acupressure points are the large intestine, Liver, and the Spleen.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Acupressure professionals are trained to treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition.

Salary: $28,000- $30,000

Education:  There approximately 50 schools for acupressure and acupuncture in the United States.  Once the training is complete some states allow them to practice but some require to pass a national exam. Some states like California require the graduate to pass both the National exam and an Oriental Medicine exam.

I wouldn’t like to be an Acupressure professional because I would not like to mess with nerves or points in our body.
