A trauma nurse typically possesses more skills than a basic nurse therefore, the trauma nurse salary is usually on the higher than that of a general registered nurse.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

Education: The first step toward any nursing specialty is to become a licensed registered nurse. You can also earn a nursing diploma from a hospital program in just two to three years, although this option is becoming increasingly less common. Ideally, your best bet is to earn a bachelor’s of science in nursing, which will help make you much more competitive in the trauma nursing job market.

I would not like to be one because I would have to be up 24/7 because of emergency rooms and i would like enough sleep and because they don't make as much money i would like to make.
