Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities: An engineer is a professional practitioner of
engineering, concerned with applying scientific knowledge, mathematics, and
ingenuity to develop solutions for technical, societal and commercial problems.
Engineers design materials, structures, and systems while considering the
limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost. The word
engineer is derived from the Latin roots ingenerate ("to contrive,
devise") and ingenious ("cleverness").
Salary: About $80,580 per year and $38.74 per hour
Education: Master’s programs are designed to expand and deepen the knowledge and skills acquired as an undergraduate. Master's degree programs in engineering require two years of full-time graduate study. Doctoral programs require five-to-seven years of graduate study, while PhD programs are generally designed for people primarily interested in research and education in the engineering field.
Reflection:
I would like to be an engineer because they make enough money to help or support there family.
