To me this quote by Dale Murphy is trying to say never to lie. The truth may be wrong but you must always tell the truth and nothing but the truth to others and yourself. Also, this quote is saying that cheating isn’t worth anything in the end. You may think it’s good at the moment but at the end it is nothing or worthless.

To me this quote by Dale Murphy says that it doesn’t matter how you do your actions it matters what kind of character you had while you did them. Also, he is saying that the way you treat and act to others is how you will be treated back by them. It’s how you act that matters. For example it can be kindness which shows good character and it can be being angry at others which shows rude character.
