Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Laboratory Technology is both a science and an art.  Although dental technicians seldom work directly with patients, except under the direction of a licensed dentist, they are valuable members of the dental care team. They work directly with dentists by following detailed written instructions and using impressions (molds) of the patient's teeth or oral soft tissues to create full dentures for patients who are missing all of their teeth .Also, removable partial dentures or fixed bridges for patients who are missing only one or a few teeth, crowns, which are caps for teeth that are designed to restore their original size and shape.

Salary: $37,690 or an hourly wage of $18.12

Education: Dental laboratory technicians may receive their education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school.

I would not like to be one because I don’t really want to study our teeth. Also because I think I wouldn’t be happy if that was my job.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day

Veterans Day was established on November the 11th on 1918. Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was originally set as a U.S. legal holiday to honor the end of World War I. More than 16 million Veterans served during war and more than 5.5 million served during peace time. Veterans Day is not Memorial Day. Memorial honors the dead soldiers that protected our country and Veterans Day honors the soldiers that are alive and that used to be soldiers and soldiers that are still at war.

To me Veterans Day means to me is to honor the soldiers that were and still are soldiers for what they did to protect use and there country. They risked and still risk their lives for us.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.”

Chick Moorman

To me this quote means that even if you win or lose it only matters how you played and tried. Also, winning and losing is not everything.

“These are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity”.

                  Integrity

The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Integrity is a personal choice, an uncompromising and predictably consistent commitment to honor moral, ethical, spiritual and artistic values.

To me integrity means to be strong but kind at the same time. Also being kind of generous in a way that would help others.

Some synonyms for integrity is being honesty, probity, rectitude, honor, righteousness, morality, virtue, decency, fairness, scrupulousness, sincerity, truthfulness, trustworthiness.

The man had integrity as he passed through the people that bullied him,

I had integrity when I had bought new shoes and walked back to school.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

 Proverbs 13:20

To me this means that the people you hang around with is the person you’re going to be when you grow up. Also it means that you can mess your life up or have a great life just by hanging around people that are good or bad influences.
